About

I am a writer, editor and semiotic consultant with over a decade of experience in each field. In my work, I speculate on futures, the emergent cultural practices that will shape consumer desires in the years to come. My practice, rooted in semiotic research and informed by my work as an editor, seeks to answer these questions, to plot out a road map of what lies ahead.

Over the last 12 years, I have worked as a semiotic researcher and strategic insight analyst on projects for brands across many sectors, from FMCGs to technology. I also work as a writer, editorial consultant, and, since 2014, the editor of TANK, an independent arts and culture magazine. Storytelling is at the heart of my work – and understanding how this can shape strategic decisions.

A dual US/UK citizen, since 2019 I have worked remotely between Istanbul, London and New York. I speak Turkish, French and intermediate German.
